It’s formal for the first post from any blogger, as it is for the first program of a programmer, to say “Hello World.” This stems from the simple fact that displaying a simple text message is one of the simplest programs one can make. This is a new account, a new platform, a new everything. So, hello world… here I come.
But who am I? I’m your lovable lumberjack – a mix of technogeek and mountain man. I work for a large corporation. I recently graduated from a leading business school and now live in Boston. You’ll be looking at all the geeky men with some build now wondering… is that BLJ? For those that didn’t get the transition, I’m calling myself BLJ since Binary Lumberjack is too much work to type most of the time.
Starting work in the “real world” has been interesting… very interesting actually. Lots of training and computer based learning… actually that’s just a whole bunch of boring. So what did I do? I started Binary Lumberjack and now you’re here… reading… wondering who is this mysterious casanova of digital manliness. I am the lumberjack.
